What expectations and timelines does society put on you as a woman? This workshop will address the societal pressures put on women to partner up, get married, and procreate. We will discuss how to deal with these pressures if your desires do not line up with societal expectations.
In this workshop, we will:
- Address how these pressures affect how we experience ourselves as women.
- Discuss feelings of inadequacy related to our sexuality and body image connected with this pressures.
- Explore the many layers that contribute to these pressures. How did we get here? What can we do about it?
- Learn how we can contribute to rewriting the stigmas attached to singlehood, partnership without marriage, and being childfree (by choice or not).
