What makes our Happy Hour different from the thousand other happy hours in NYC?
We’ve been touched and inspired by the openness of the conversations that have been unfolding at our happy hours. Women of all ages just show up and the conversation naturally flows. Our vision for The V. Club was to create a space that feels inviting and a no-judgment zone. Based on everyone’s feedback, that is how it feels. Whew!
Many people feel that NYC offers everything except the opportunity to share warmth and connection. Perhaps it’s because we’re packed like sardines in this great city and crave a little space instead of connecting with a stranger that’s probably forced to stand a little too close to us? Many people come to NYC after college and do not have a circle of old trusted friends in the city.
NYC can feel isolating and it can be especially difficult on women because our feminine energy craves to share our experiences and challenges with others. Talking through wellness, self-care and all things feminine is both empowering and provides the support we need to be happy and successful in our lives. You can get that at our Happy Hour, and that’s what makes it different from the thousands of happy hours in NYC.
Well, we’ve been having a lot of heart-to-heart conversations about empowerment, self-care, love and all things feminine with the women who have taken our masterclasses. Amongst many themes that cropped up was beating the Sunday night blues.
One tactic to solving this and many other problems is to set goals for the week ahead, and Monday is a great day for that.
